Do you love handmade goods but find yourself seeking absolute perfection? Us too. Do you find yourself obsessively searching for the perfect thing over and over, rejecting so many reasonable possibilities on the way because they are Just Not Perfect? Snap! We hear you, loud and clear.
Here at Designing a Happy* Life, everything that we design is produced to the ridiculously high standards of two picky perfectionist visual artists. We have obnoxiously high standards, and anything which doesn't meet them, for even the teeniest reason, goes back to the drawing board.
HOW ARE THE WALL CALENDARS / PLANNERS PRODUCED?
The wall calendars are designed here in the studio in Portland, Maine and printed for us by a fabulous company in California. The planners arrive at your door rolled in tissue paper and packaged in a tube, ready for you to unroll, hang on the wall, and get organized.
HOW ARE THE WALL CALENDARS / PLANNERS PRINTED?
The wall planners are printed on archival, acid-free paper which is thick and durable. The paper and print quality are exceptional.
WHAT SIZE ARE THE WALL CALENDARS / PLANNERS?
All of the planners are 24" x 36".
HOW IS THE DESIGNING A HAPPY* LIFE WEBSITE POWERED AND WHAT PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
The website of designingahappylife.com is hosted and powered by Shopify, one of the leading e-commerce store front solutions. We accept credit card payments through Shopify and Stripe, a secure and trusted third party payment gateway. This means that your credit card details are not processed here at designingahappylife.com. You can also choose to pay with Paypal. You can pay with your Paypal account if you have one, or you can quickly set one up, or you can simply pay with your Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover credit card via Paypal if you prefer.
HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?
All of our product line is made to order, we do not keep any stock in the studio. The times below are guidelines for how long each item in your order will take to be created and ready to ship. Shipping times are additional. All printed paper goods are printed on demand when you order. Please allow 2-5 days for your product to be printed, plus shipping time on top of that.
WILL MY ORDER LOOK EXACTLY LIKE IT DOES ON THE WEBSITE?
We try our hardest to accurately represent colors and textures on the Designing a Happy* Life website, but unfortunately every single screen shows colors differently. If I even move the screen on this computer backwards and forwards all the colors change hugely. And the difference between how things look on say this laptop versus an iPad can be quite dramatic. Everything we do is is made to order with a great attention to detail with very strict quality control standards.
WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?
We ship via USPS or FedEx within the contiguous United States. You can choose your method of shipping at checkout, where you will be able to compare rates and times. When your package ships, you will be notified via email with a tracking number so you can follow the progress of your package. Please note that we can not guarantee delivery times, once your items have been packaged up and mailed to you, the matter is unfortunately out of our hands.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
We are delighted to announce that we are now able to ship internationally. At checkout you will be able to select a shipping rate. Please note that we can not guarantee delivery times, once your items have been packaged up and mailed to you the matter is unfortunately out of our hands. International customers will be responsible for any duties or costs charged by their local customs office. Please note, the company who prints our products for us does not currently ship to Cuba, Iran or North Korea.
DO YOU CHARGE SALES TAX?
We do not currently charge sales tax on any Designing a Happy* Life products. If taxes are applicable to your purchase, we will pay them for you.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from designingahappylife.com. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order when it arrives, please email us and we will do our utmost to find a resolution. As all products are made to order, and we do not carry a stock of products, we cannot accept returns on personalized items. All other orders must be returned in perfect condition within 30 days of purchase to be eligible for a refund. We do not pay for return shipping. If you are returning a product to us, you must email first.
